Nilay and Bhavika’s August 28–30, 2025 was our biggest, craziest wedding of the year. With separate pre-wedding traditions for each side of the family and several joint gatherings, the weekend was layered, energetic, and deeply rooted in culture.
Bhavika’s events were hosted at GCA Hall, where her mehndi and Sataak brought together close family and friends in a colorful, high-spirited setting. The mehndi was filled with intricate henna, vibrant outfits, and steady foot traffic as guests moved in and out throughout the day. Meanwhile, Nilay’s pre-wedding events — including his pithi, welcome dinner, Sataak, and an early reception gathering — took place at the Clarence Brown Conference Center. His pithi carried the joyful chaos that makes these ceremonies memorable: turmeric, laughter, and family fully participating in the moment.
When both sides came together, the scale of the weekend became fully apparent. Garba brought nonstop movement and a packed dance floor, setting the tone for the wedding day. The ceremony itself was tradition-focused and thoughtfully structured, allowing space for meaningful rituals while keeping the timeline smooth for guests. With a guest count of 600, coordination and flow were critical — and the production reflected that.
The final reception closed out the weekend with formal entrances, heartfelt speeches, and a high-energy dance floor that felt like a true culmination of three full days of celebration.
For couples planning a high-end Hindu wedding in the Southeast, Nilay and Bhavika’s celebration is a strong example of how to manage multiple venues, parallel family events, and large guest counts without losing cohesion. With intentional scheduling and experienced coordination, multi-day South Asian weddings at this scale can feel organized, immersive, and personal — something we’re always focused on capturing through both photo and film.
