This was a special wedding for me. Blake was a friend of mine back at Georgia Tech when we were both on student publications photo staff there. He has since been living on the west coast as a software developer for Honk, where he met Greta.
Greta and her family are from Alaska, so that’s where they decided to have their wedding at. I got to go up to Juneau and spend 3 days with both of the families.
On Friday we explored Mount Roberts and had a cookout down at Auke Bay in the evening. Saturday was the wedding at Glacier Gardens. Sunday we took a hike to Mendenhall Glacier and went out onto Auke Bay with Greta’s parents in their boat. Monday morning I caught a 7am flight back to Atlanta and back to reality.
It was a wonderful trip with a great couple and their two families. Here are a few of my favorite images. Enjoy!
