Frequently Asked Questions
1.
First,
drop me a line and see if I am free for your date. If I am, I would love
to meet with you and your fiance to go over the details of your wedding and to
get to know you a little bit. If we are a good fit and you are interested
in hiring me, a 35% retainer and the signing of my contract secures my services for
your wedding day. The remaining 65% of the payment is due on the day of
the wedding.
I typically
recommend doing engagement shoots in the spring or fall. These are the
best times of year to do outdoor shoots. Ask me when I'm free
and we'll works omething out.
Yes!
Unlike many other wedding photographers, I include a DVD of high resolution images for every package I sell. The bride and groom will receive a signed print release form to make prints from their DVD.
4.
After the wedding, when do I get my pictures?
I work to get the weddings
proofs online for viewing as quickly as I can.
Most of the time this is within 2-3 days after the wedding. Next, I work to get the high resolution photos
delivered to you within a week or two of the wedding. Albums are generally
delivered within 4-6 weeks of the wedding.
5.
Will you travel to shoot my wedding?
Yes!
Standard travel of
50 miles round trip from Atlanta is included in all of my packages. Very reasonable rates apply for travel for most distant locations.
Absolutely! My premium album line is called the
Finao. I have an information page about them here:
Premium Finao Bridal
Albums
I also offer a couple other more
affordable options in the form of paren'ts albums and coffee table books.
Information about those can be found here: 2009 Options List
. I also bring samples of real albums to meetings.
7.
How do you do proofing?
I have a proof page where I post proofs from all of the weddings I
shoot. This page is available for one year after the wedding and includes
everything you need to find the pictures you are looking for, and order prints
if you wish.
8.
How are you prepared for the unexpected?
I have backups of all
critical camera equipment and can guarantee that no failure of any piece of my
equipment will be detrimental to the coverage of your wedding day. I also
have a highly refined and secure digital workflow after the wedding to ensure
that your pictures are backed up and completely safe in the off-chance of a
computer failure. Your wedding coverage
and the pictures I capture
from it are completely safe.
