Every now and then I get the chance to photograph a wedding which reshapes the way I think about wedding. Chauncey and Jermaine’s wedding was one of those. The day started off at a normal pace at beautiful Druid Hills Baptist church here in Atlanta. We managed to make good use of our time to photograph the largest bridal party I’ve ever had – 30 including the bride and groom. They had a lot of little details and traditions they did which really made their day special.
From there we went over to 12 Atlantic Station for what was the wildest party I’ve ever been to. To say these guys had fun would be a massive understatement. On several occasions I even felt the floor shake – and we were on the ground level of a new hotel. I’m not sure the pictures accurately convey the joy and energy everyone here had. It was just an amazing day.
