I’ve been looking forward to Stefan and Erin’s wedding for a while. They flew down to the Dominican Republic with about 18 of their closest friends and family for an intimate wedding there at the Magestic Elegance Resort. It was an absolutely amazing trip and a beautiful location.
I spent two days there with their friends and family before the wedding on Saturday. They treated me like a friend and a guest, which I’m grateful for. When the wedding rolled around on Saturday we were all refreshed and relaxed. With only 20 people there, the mood was remarkably stress free. There were moments which would normally be upsetting – like a groomsman forgetting his tux – which turned out to be more humorous than anything. He wore beach shorts to the wedding and fit right in.
We were given free range of the resort and the beach along with all of the time we needed to take some amazing pictures. What resulted are probably my favorite wedding photos of the year.
